Tukios generates all of our videos in the 16:9 aspect ratio. The aspect ratio of your TV or projector may need to be adjusted.
Occasionally we get phone calls from people who are viewing their DVDs, and the words on the screen are running off of the edges.
The Tukios software is designed so that this will not happen in the actual videos, so if you are having this issue, there are three options to fix it.
- Most TVs have a "Zoom" setting that allows you to change the way the TV is displaying the content. By cycling through this setting, you may discover that the TV is set to a setting called Zoom or Stretch, which would most likely be the cause of this error.
- The DVD player itself will more than likely have the same setting that the TV has, meaning the ability to zoom or stretch the video. So if the TV settings don't clear up the issue, try the DVD player settings.
- Many Projectors have an "Aspect" button on the remote or box that can change the look of the video to make the projection of the video fit the screen.
*Note: Every DVD player and TV is a little bit different than the others, so we may not know exactly which buttons to press on your remote because they vary so much.
