The Fujistu iX500 scanner runs into issues making a connection with the computer. Although not exhaustive, this list gives you somethings to try before contacting Fujistu support.
The Fujistu iX500 is a discontinued product by Fujistu. They do not support this product anymore. If you are having issues with your scanner, we suggest you update to the Fujistu iX1500.
Once you have set up your Fujitsu Scanner and have the settings correct, place photos into the top slot and press the blue button. All the photos should scan through.
If you press the blue button and the light flashes and it does not scan your photos, do the following.
1. Open the Scansnap Organizer
This action will help re-establish the lost connection.
2. Close the Scansnap Organizer and Press the Blue Button
Once you have done this, the Scanner should work.
