This process can be done from a computer or a phone

Instructions from a Phone:

Open the link sent from the SendHugs setup. You will click the "Record Video" button on the screen. 

 

The system may ask for Microphone and Camera permissions. Press Allow.

Once you press the Record Video button on the screen, the camera will turn on. You can press the Record button on screen (Normally says "Record" or will be a Red Button).

 

Record the hug to the family or individual. Once you are done, click the "Stop" button to finish the recording. 

 

At this point you can watch the playback of the video, which is always recommended to make sure there are not audio/video problems. You can re-record if you are unsatisfied with the video, or you can submit it to the SendHugs page. Here are some helpful hints if you are having issues with recording a video.

 

When you click Submit, the file will be uploaded to our servers and you will see this screen.

Then it will show the following Thank you message.

 

Once the video has been submitted, it will go to our moderation page and then, if approved, will appear on the SendHugs Video page.
